I am not a tree
No that ain’t me
Although I like a nice tree when I see one
I know that I would rather see than be one

And I am not a fish
That’s not my wish
Although I find myself sometimes at sea
A fish is not what I aspire to be

I’m a people person
Most of my best friends
Are homo sapiens
I’m a people person
I’ll be first in line
To be a people fan

‘Cause pets don’t get my jokes
As well as other folks
And guitars may be nice
But they don’t give good adivce
I’m proudly humanoid
In fact I’m overjoyed

I’m a people person
Ask anyone I know
And they’ll all tell you so
I’m a people person
Being human being
Is the way to go
